The Nichi Bei Foundation is seeking friendly, creative and self-motivated individuals to contribute to the Nichi Bei Weekly and NichiBei.org.
Previous reporting and editing experience, and knowledge of AP Style desired. Individuals should be detail-oriented, deadline driven, and capable at proofreading and fact checking. Responsibilities may include layout production and photography. This is a great opportunity to gain print and online clips.
Knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel) and the Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) preferred. Knowledge of Japanese American/Asian Pacific American community and Japanese language is a plus!
