INOUYE, KAZUO, age 87, passed away December 12, 2010 in Walnut Creek. He was a California native, and a longtime resident of San Lorenzo. Mr. Inouye served our country in the Army, before going on to a 40-year career as a mechanical engineer. In his free time, he volunteered at Alta Bates, golfed and traveled. He liked music and the Oakland A’s.

Mr. Inouye is survived by his wife of 66 years, Michiko; sisters Setsu and Taka, brother Mitsuru; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Mr. Inouye will be held Saturday, April 9 at 11 a.m., at Sunset View Mortuary Chapel, top of Fairmount Ave., El Cerrito.
