The San Francisco Japantown “All Clubs” Reunion invites members of social, scout and athletic clubs from the 1940s, ‘50s and ‘60s to reconnect with old friends and reminisce on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California, 1840 Sutter St. in Japantown.

Admission costs $40 and includes a bento lunch and a reunion souvenir CD of historical photos from various groups. Proceeds will go toward the relief efforts in Northern Japan.

Past participants have included members of: Arbees, Associates, Troop 58, Barons, Darts, Dots, Fogs, girls basketball teams, Girl Scouts, Clovettes, Juniorettes, Links, Marquettes, Sparks, Stinkers, Sweat Sox, Troop 12. This is the fifth reunion of these organizations. The first was held in 1985.

The reunion committee is seeking members of the Enchantees, Coquettes, Gales, Protos, Royal AC, Rogues, Dhyanas, Harlem AC, Dukes, Celtics, and other groups.

The organizing group is also collecting photos to establish a historical archive of the groups involved. The group asks that photos include the group or team names, along with the individuals in that photo and the year in which it was taken.
