LOS ANGELES — Keiro Senior HealthCare (Keiro Services), a nonprofit organization that aids and empowers elderly Nikkei in the area, is one of 500 finalists in Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good program.

The program plans to award 100 nonprofit organizations with cars. Voting will be held during the course of 100 days on Toyota’s Facebook page,

Participants will have the opportunity to vote once a day for the organization they feel is most deserving of a new Toyota. Keiro will be featured on the site on Tuesday, July 26.

The new vehicle, if won, would allow Keiro to take residents, even those in wheelchairs, on outings to enhance their quality of life.
