NAKAHARA, MITSUKO passed away March 11, 2012, at the age of 85. A native of Japan, Mitsuko had resided in Oakland for over 60 years. A loving wife and mother, she was also active in the Konko Church of North America.

Preceded in death by her husband, Wataru Tommy Nakahara, Mitsuko is survived by her sons, Mark and Philip (Debbie); daughters, Dale and Peggy (David) Watterson; sister, Tamae Hayashi; as well as nieces; nephews; grandnieces; grandnephews; and great-grandnieces.

She will be greatly missed by all.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 18 at 4 p.m., Sunset View Mortuary, top of Fairmount Ave., El Cerrito, with viewing from 2 p.m.
