NOMIYAMA, DOROTHY SHIGEKO passed away on January 27 at the age of 94. She was born in Alameda, Calif. on January 1, 1918.

Dorothy is survived by daughter, Cheryl Hayame, son, Ken Nomiyama, daughter-in-law, Daynad five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also sister, Kay Matsutani, brother, Frank Nomiyama and in the U.S., brothers-in-law, Tim Nomiyama and Seigo Nomiyama.

Dorothy lived in Oakland for over 60 years. Her husband, Don Hiraku, passed away in 1999. She was a member of the Oakland Buddhist Temple and Fukuoka Kenjinkai.
