YOKOYAMA, NAMIKO passed away on May 23, 2012 at California Pacific Medical Center at the age of 94.
Namiko was born in Suisun, Calif., received her education in Japan, and returned to the U.S. in 1937. She resided in San Francisco for the past 65 years. Affiliated with Buddhist Church of S.F., S.F. Buddhist Women’s Association, Boy Scout Troop 58, JCCCNC, S.F. Hiroshima Nikkeijin Kai and Seicho No Ie.
Surviving are son, Bob; daughter, Janet (Daniel) Kunihara; brother, Frank (Kiyoko) Ikenaga; sister, Mary Ikenaga; sister-in-law, Chiyoko Yokoyama; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Predeceased by husband, James; and daughter, Nancy Aoki. Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 2 at 11 a.m. at Ashley & McMullen Mortuary, 4200 Geary Blvd., S.F.
