MIHARA, ETSUMI SAKAKI died Nov. 6, 2012. She was born Oct. 12, 1920, and raised in Fremont Calif., graduating from Washington High School in 1937. Etsumi’s family was moved to the internment camp at Topaz, Utah in 1942. She married Kenji Mihara in Fillmore, Utah in 1944. Etsumi lived the past 67 years of her life as a resident in San Francisco. Etsumi was a retiree from the Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company. She is survived by children, Keiko and Steven; grandchildren, Robert and Amy; and great-grandchildren, Maria and Vincent.
Family and friends are invited to attend services at Ashley & McMullen mortuary on 6th Ave. and Geary Blvd. at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 19.
