Toshiko (Osaki) Mizuiri

MIZUIRI, TOSHIKO (OSAKI) passed away peacefully on October 12, 2012. During her 90 years, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, crocheting, knitting, visiting friends, going to the casino, rooting for the SF Giants and watching the Lawrence Welk Show. She was a member of the church’s Fujinkai and the Soko Hiroshima Kenjinkai.

Toshiko joins her husband, Masami, who passed away in April. She is survived by her children, Jean (Denis), Gary (Lorin), Wayne (Patti), Nancy, Doris (Ed) and Sandra; grandchildren, Starla, Shane, Danielle, Remi and Lisa; sisters and cousins, Sachiko, Natsuye (Ed), Michiko (Eiichi), Sharon (Brad), Aiko and Sets (Shiro); and nieces and nephews, Craig (Keiko), Cindy (Paul), Carol (Chris), Rodney (Becky), Ann (Don), Jenny (Jason) and Eric (Marilyn). Her passing was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Bill Morton.

A memorial service will be held Nov. 10 at 12:00 pm at the Buddhist Church of San Francisco, 1881 Pine St.
