OBITUARY: Elsie T. Nakagawa

NAKAGAWA, ELSIE T., 83, passed away Dec. 13, 2012 in San Francisco. Born in Marysville, Calif. on Jan. 19, 1929, Elsie was the youngest of Tetsuzo and Kiyo Nakagawa’s 10 children. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Alice Imamoto, James, George and Gladys Nakagawa, Jean Shinbori, Dorothy Stanton, Eleanor Nickel, Helen Marshall and Louise Watanabe. Elsie was a resident of San Francisco for the past 60 years, working as a medical secretary, office manager and medical transcriber before retiring. She is survived by 7 nephews and 8 nieces and numerous grand and great grand nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the Lakeside Colonial Chapel in Marysville, Calif. on Jan. 26 at 2 p.m.
