MIZONO, AYAKO, 93, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Buena Vista Manor in San Francisco Feb. 28, 2013. She was born Feb. 11, 1920. She was married to her late husband, Jack Mizono, for 59 years. She worked by Jack’s side for over 40 years in their family tofu business. She was also a professional seamstress, wonderful cook and loving mother/grandmother. She is survived by her two children, Vickie (and Michael) Ina; Bruce (and Bonnie) Mizono; and four grandchildren, Cecily (and Brian) Ina-Lee, Jamie (and Doug) Obana, Jennifer and Kystal Mizono.
Memorial service will be held at the Buddhist Church, 1881 Pine Street, San Francisco on March 17 at 3 p.m.
