Husband to late wife Kimiko Yoshimura Ichinose, Tokihide was one of seven children and was preceded in death by brothers Hiromasa and Hideo, and sister Akiko. Tokihide is survived by brother Katsumi, sisters Setsuko and Yoshiko, daughter Joyce, and numerous extended family.
In recognition of a life supported by the ocean, Tony requested that in lieu of funeral or flowers, donations be made toward supporting ocean preservation. Cremated remains will be placed at the Japanese Cemetery in Colma during a private ceremony later this month.
The family thanks Palm Villas in Redwood City, Bridgepoint of Los Altos, Calif., Kaiser Hospital in Mountain View, Calif., and Vitas Hospice in San Mateo, Calif. for their care and assistance.
