Huie, Walter Jr., 70, born Aug. 24, 1942, passed away peacefully at his home in Berkeley, Calif. Aug. 8, 2013. A native of San Francisco, and long-time resident of Berkeley. Survived by his wife of 44 years, Nobue Huie of Berkeley; daughter, Stephanie Huie of Richmond, Calif.; son, Edwin Huie of Oakland, Calif.; and grandson, Alexander Gonzalez of Richmond, Calif. Friends and acquaintances are cordially invited to attend memorial services Sunday, Aug. 25 at 2 p.m. at Berkeley Higashi Honganji Buddhist Church, 1524 Oregon St., Berkeley.
