INOUYE, AIKO, 100, of San Francisco, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2014. She was the devoted wife of the late Hisao Inouye (2008). Aiko (Toyomura) Inouye was born in Yamaguchi-ken, Japan on Dec. 19, 1913. Aiko and Hisao Inouye were married on Dec. 3, 1936 and were devoted spouses for almost 72 years. Aiko Inouye was accomplished in the art of Japanese tea ceremony and ikebana. Her husband, Hisao Inouye; parents, Tokisaburo and Kitae Toyomura; and brothers, Michio and Kiyoshi Toyomura; preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons, Akio and Tsuneo; grandchildren, Sandra, Robert, Kathryn, Paul, Douglas (Akiko), and Keith (Kelly); and great-grandchildren, Lauren, Avery, Sutton, Preston, Penny and Ava. A private memorial service was held June 29 at Pine United Methodist Church.
