OBITUARY: MARSHALL MASARU SUMIDA

SUMIDA, MARSHALL MASARU, 92, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2014.  He is survived by Misako his wife of 69 years, sister Yohko Majorie Matsumoto of Seattle, many nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.  He worked for Mitsubishi Bank and was active in the Japanese American community in San Francisco.  Veteran of the U.S. Army, MIS. Charter member of  the VFW Post 9879 and Golden Gate Optimist Club. Memorial donations and koden may be made to Kimochi, Inc., Japanese Cultural & Community Center of Northern California (JCCCNC), the Stockton Buddhist Temple, or a charity of your choice.
