MAEHARA, KAZUKO, age 97 ½, passed peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday evening October 1, 2015 in Lodi, California. She is preceded in death by her husband Yoshio Maehara, son Kenneth (Debbie) Maehara, and brothers Isamu, George and Henry Uchida. She is survived by brother Yoshihiro (Mae) Uchida, son Jerry Maehara, daughter Janice Milton,grandchildren Russel and Tanya Maehara, Tim (Susan) Milton, Christina (Justin) Philips and 7 great grandchildren and 5 nieces and 1 nephew. Kazuko retired from the San Jose Buddhist Church where she used her bilingual skills as secretary to help the church staff with daily activities and annual fundraising activities. She was active in the church Fujinkai, Kumamoto Kenjinkai, Bando and Minyo groups. She was warm and funny and will be greatly missed.

This obituary has incorrect information attached to it. Kenneth Maehara is deceased and is not in any way the same berson as Deb Maehara or Debra Maehara. Christina Milton and Timothy Milton, Tanya Marhara, and Russell Maehara are the only surviving grandchildren. Yosh Uchida is the only surviving brother with a brother George Uchida deceased. Son and daughter, Jerry Maehara and daughter Janice Milton. These are the only names my family goes by. Please fix this at once. Her loving grandaughter Tanya Maehara.
