NAKAMURA, KAYO IIDA, 94, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 16, 2017 in Tigard, Oregon. Kayo was born on February 25, 1923 in San Francisco and lived there for most of her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Kaplan; son-in-law, Mark Kaplan; and grandson, Ethan Kaplan. She was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Nakamura and daughter, Diane Nakamura. A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday, October 28, 2017, 1:30 PM at Christ United Presbyterian Church, 1700 Sutter Street, San Francisco, CA 94115. Parking will be validated at the Japan Center parking lot.
