KOZONO, ARD AVEN KIYOSHI, 101, passed away at home in Sacramento on March 24, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. “Art” was a retired farmer. Interned at Tule Lake in 1942, he was a WWII MIS veteran, and a VFW and JACL member. He was preceded in death by wife Mary, and by his youngest son, Gary Kozono. He is survived by son Don (Lucie); daughter Patty (Mack); daughter-in-law Marlene Tonai; grandchildren Mike (Cat), Tim, Brian (Meggie) and Jamie Kozono; great-grandson Kai Kozono, 100 years his junior; sisters-in-law Helen Hori and Ruby Nitta; and numerous nieces and nephews.
