NAITO, EMIKO “MIKI,” 85, of San Francisco, California passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018. Emiko was born August 16, 1933 in Madera, CA to Eisaku and Tomo Naito. She attended Alpha Grammar School in Madera, CA. In 1942 amid World War II she and her family were interned at the Jerome, Arkansas Interment Camp and later at Rohwer, Arkansas Internment Camp. After being released in 1945, she returned with her family to Madera and went on to graduate from Madera Union High School in Madera, CA and Fresno State College, in Fresno, CA with a degree in Business Education.

Emiko is survived by her brothers, Ken Naito, Henry Naito and wife Yuko, Dick Naito and wife Mitzi; sister-in-law, Tomoko Naito; nephews, Michael Naito and Scotty Naito; and nieces, Gail Renge, Julie Naito, Michelle Naito and Lisa Naito.

A memorial service for Emiko will be held at the SF Columbarium and Funeral Home, 1 Loraine Ct, San Francisco, CA on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, should friends desire, contributions may be sent to Kimochi in memory of Emiko Naito.
