OBITUARY: Kazuko Matsuoka

Kazuko Matsuoka

MATSUOKA, KAZUKO, 85, passed quietly surrounded by family and friends on November 27, 2018. She was a longtime resident of Sacramento. Born in Osaka, Japan, she was preceded in her journey by husband Walter and brother Shinichi. She is survived by son Kent and countless nieces and nephews. A supporter of Japanese arts and culture, she was a patron of Jan Ken Po, the Matsuyama Sister City Corporation, Nisei VFW Post 8985, and numerous other community organizations. A memorial service will be held at Sacramento Japanese United Methodist church on January 6, 2019 at 1:30pm.
