YOSHIDA, MARUKO of San Mateo, passed on September 29, 2019 after a 4-year battle with cancer. Born in Kumamoto, Japan on August 5, 1932, Maruko arrived in San Mateo in 1959 to begin a new life with her husband and newborn. She is survived by her husband Seiichi, her daughters Naomi Ichikawa, Karen Tekawa & Betsy Yen, along with their husbands Lance, Gregg & Tom respectively; along with seven grandchildren Samantha, Stephanie, Sarah, Scott, Elizabeth, Andrew & Christopher.

Friends & family are invited to a memorial service at Sneider, Sullivan & O’Connell’s Funeral Home in San Mateo on Saturday, October 12, 2019, at 10:30 a.m.
