MURATA, MAY passed away peacefully at home in Corte Madera, CA at the age of 93. May was best known as the owner of May’s Coffee Shop in San Francisco’s J-town. She is survived by her children: Carol Murata, Pearl (Farokh) Monemzadeh, Rachel Lamott, Clifford (Dawn) Murata, and grandchildren: Stacy Shiroma, Natalie Murata, Tyler Lamott and great-grandchild: Kai Murata. Services will not be held in light of the pandemic.
