Ricky Okamura, co-owner of Benkyodo Company, told the Nichi Bei Weekly his family’s Japanese confectionery will remain open until at least March 31.

Okamura and his younger brother Bobby Okamura both plan to retire this year and have been looking for someone to take over the 115-year-old San Francisco Legacy Business located in the city’s Japantown.

Benkyodo is currently closed for their annual winter vacation and will reopen on Jan. 11.
