Paul Minoru Yamagishi

YAMAGISHI, PAUL passed away peacefully on December 8, 2022 at Peninsula Hospital in Burlingame at the age of 90 years old. He was born on October 15, 1932 in San Luis Obispo, California and moved with his family to Japan when he was 6 years old. In 1957, he was drafted and returned to the United States to serve for 5 years in the US Army based in Hawaii. He also worked for 32 years in the Chair Shop for United Airlines maintenance base.
He leaves behind Ted Yamagishi (son), Jennifer Yamagishi (daughter-in-law) and Jacob Yamagishi (grandson.) He was pre-deceased by his wife, Teruko Yamagishi and his oldest grandson, Tyler Yamagishi, who died of osteosarcoma. Paul was buried in the Veteran’s section of Skylawn Memorial next to his wife.
