Naomi Yamamoto

YAMAMOTO, NAOMI was born in Oakland CA. Adopted by the late Takafusa (Jimmy) Fujisada Aka-Bonji and Hisayo (Mary) Fujisada of San Francisco, CA. passed away unexpectedly at ACC Care Center in Sacramento due to prolonged deterioration from a stroke several years ago.
Widow to Mike Masakazu Yamamoto and loving mother to the late Chips Yamamoto and surviving son Kent Yamamoto.
Naomi spent the majority of her youth in San Francisco with a temporary disposition to the Japanese internment camps in Utah during WWII. After returning to SF she graduated from George Washington High school in 1956. She relocated to Sacramento after marriage in 1960 and remained in Sacramento to the present.
Throughout her career, she worked in various industries and retired as a Sales Representative in confectionary foods with Golden Gate Marketing.
A service will be held at the Buddhist Church of Sacramento (2401 Riverside Blvd. 95818) on 3/12/23 at 2 pm. (Daylight Saving Time) All friends & family are welcome. If made to a charity on behalf of Naomi, The Front Street Animal Shelter in Sacramento or SPCA are suggested for she loved animals.
