SF Schoolboard member Emily Murase will serve as emcee for the Bay Area Day of Remembrance, to be held at the Sundance Kabuki Theater, 1881 Post. St., SF Japantown. Rev. Michael Yoshii will be the keynote speaker.
SF Mayor Ed Lee and Rev. Lloyed Wake will also speak. Performances by George Yoshida, Michael Sasaki, rapper Colin Ehara and Kirakiraboshi Children’s Choir. There will be a candlelight processional, followed by a reception at the Japanese American Culture and Community Center of Northern California at 1840 Sutter St. in SF.
