Origami-Palooza will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Japan Center East Mall and Hotel Kabuki Sakura Ballroom at 1625 Post St. in S.F.’s Japantown. Attend a folding session with Chris Alexander, author of “Star Wars Origami 1 & 2.” Spaces limited. Challenge yourself and your friends to fold the tiniest, most complex origami, or learn a new model from local origami teachers.
