Berkeley: Celebrate the life of Richard Aoki

The UC Berkeley MLK Student Union, Multicultural Center, 200 MLK Jr. Student Union, Berkeley, Calif., will host an evening to celebrate the life of Richard Aoki at 7 p.m. Author Diane Fujine will present her new book, “Samurai Among Panthers: Richard Aoki on Race, Resistance and a Paradoxical Life.” The evening will also feature presentations of the AAPI Alumni Richard Aoki scholarship awards.
