Berkeley: “My Heart is in Okinawa: Everyday Life between Japan and America”

UC Berkeley’s Center for Japanese Studies will hold a panel discussion entitled “My Heart is in Okinawa: Everyday Life between Japan and America” from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Institute of East Asian Studies (2223 Fulton, 6th floor), IEAS Conference Room. Panelist/Discussants: Keiko Yamanaka, Lecturer, Department of Ethnic Studies, UC Berkeley; Kensuke Sumii, Visiting Scholar, CJS, UC Berkeley; Todd Carrel, Lecturer, School of Journalism, UC Berkeley; Wesley Ueunten, Assistant Professor, Asian American Studies, San Francisco State University.
