Former inmates and educators will speak at the “Voices of Bainbridge Island” program at 11 a.m. at the Manzanar National Historic Site, the National Park Service on the west side of U.S. Highway 395, nine miles north of Lone Pine, and six miles south of Independence. The program will feature the experience of Nikkei from Bainbridge Island, Wash., Manzanar, Calif. and Minidoka, Idaho from during and after the war. Program is free and open to the public.
