The Amache Club and The Friends of Amache, sponsored by the Japanese Association of Colorado, will lead the 2011 Camp Amache Pilgrimage. The pilgrimage will leave from Simpson United Methodist Church, 6001 Wolff St., Arvada, Colo. at 6 a.m. and pick up participants at the Tri-State Denver Buddhist Temple, 1947 Lawrence St. Denver, Colo. at 6:30 a.m. The pilgrimage will arrive at 11 a.m. for a memorial ceremony and welcome. Participants are invited to a potluck lunch afterward All participants should bring their own dish; refreshments will be provided by The Amache Club. The cost is $25 a person (non-refundable).
