The Davis Anime Club will present its Davis Anime Convention from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the University of California, Davis. The event will feature a maid and butler cafe, karaoke, cosplay, children’s card games, and anime. Tomo Hirai, a guest of honor, will present a panel entitled “Anime and Academia.” The event will be held at the Memorial Union Building in UC Davis, 1 Shields Ave, Davis, Calif., and is open to the general public with registration.
