Hapa-Palooza: A Vancouver Celebration of Mixed-Roots Arts and Ideas will launch a new cultural festival that commemorates the city’s 125th anniversary. The festivities will be held at the Vancouver Public Library — Central Branch’s Alice MacKay Room, VPL Central Branch, 350 West Georgia ST., Vancouver, B.C., the Roundhouse Community Centre, 181 Roundhouse Mews, Vancouver, BC and the Robson Square, 800 Robson St., Vancouver, BC Canada. Hapa-Palooza will feature many talents of mixed-heritage and hybrid cultural identities through music, dance, literary, artistic and film performances. Most events throughout the area will be free.
