The Honouliuli Pilgrimage will take place at the Monsanto Kunia Facility on Oahu, in commemoration of the 68th anniversary of the opening of the Honolulu incarceration camp. The Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai’i and the Japanese American Citizens League Honolulu chapter will hold a pilgrimage to the former incarceration site. “Honolulu Historic National Site—Dream or Reality?” will include tours of the camp site, a session for teachers and more. Space is limited to the first 150 participants. Participants can meet either at the JCCH or at the Kunia Park and Ride. Buses will take participants to the site. Cost is $10; $8 for JCCH members; free for former inmates. Info: Derrick Iwata (808) 945-7633, ext 25.
