The Japanese American National Museum Book Club will host Eric L. Muller, author of “Lawyer, Jailer, Ally, Foe,” from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Tateuchi Democracy Forum at the Japanese American National Museum at 100 North Central Ave. in L.A.’s Little Tokyo. Muller, the Dan K. Moore Distinguished Professor of Law at the University of North Carolina School of Law, will discuss his new book, which “explores the complicity of the lawyers who helped run the WRA’s concentration camps.” “Mia Yamamoto, criminal defense attorney and daughter of Elmer Yamamoto, a lawyer in the Poston concentration camp,” will “discuss the issues of justice and race that emerge from the book,” with Muller.
