The Japanese American Cultural and Community Center presents the 13th annual shikishi exhibition at Doizaki Gallery in the JACCC Building, 244 South San Pedro St., in L.A. Admission free. Gallery Hours: Tuesday through Friday, noon to 5 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Shikishi are Japanese congratulatory cards of standard size, which has been used in Japan since the 12th century for painting and writing poetry.
