The Mixed Roots Film and Literary Festival will celebrate stories of the mixed experience at the Japanese American National Museum, 369 East First St. in L.A.’s Little Tokyo, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event showcases films and books from artists about the mixed race experience, craft activities and presentations, with free admission to all events.
