Sogetsu Ikebana will host a workshop from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Japanese American National Museum, 369 East First St., LA. that will introduce the student to the basic technique and style that are the foundation of many ikebana arrangements. Instructor Mikiko Ideno will teach participants how to make arrangements using lines and space. Participants can take home the flowers used in the workshop.
