‘Little Tokyo Earth Day Celebration’

Sustainable Little Tokyo will host the “Little Tokyo Earth Day Celebration” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Toriumi Plaza (Judge John Aiso Street &, 1st St.) in L.A.’s Little Tokyo. “Join us for a day of sustainable crafts, community performances, and an opportunity to share your vision for the future of Little Tokyo. This celebration is free and open to everyone; however, RSVPs are encouraged.” The event includes: a group walking meditation led by JACCC Master Artist in Residence, Hirokazu Kosaka, shodō (calligraphy) performance by local artist Kuniharu Yoshida, sekimori craft making, seed swapping (bring seeds to share) and more.
