Ann Muto, author of “Open Passage,” will be among the presenters reading their poems at “First Words: Poetry Cupertino,” the first public event under the new City of Cupertino Poet Laureate program at Cupertino Civic Center Plaza, 10300 Torre Ave., Cupertino, Calif. from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The Cupertino Friends of the Library will also hold their book sale on the same day.
