The Florin Dharma School and Florin JACL present the fourth annual Florin Obon Dance Workshop at the Florin Buddhist Church, 7235 Pritchard Rd. (off Florin Road and Highway 99) in Sacramento at 5:30 p.m. This fun and educational program introduces Obon, a key cultural, social and religious festival in the Japanese American community. Refreshments will be served. Learn about the importance of Obon, its meaning, and practice Bon Odori. Donations for the program are accepted.
