The Gilroy Yamato Hot Springs, located at the end of Gilroy Hot Springs Road (in the hills, East of Gilroy) presents “A Walk Through History,” from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The hot springs once served as a transitional shelter to about 60 families who had been forcibly relocated from their homes during World War II. The event features displays, docent-led tours, music and dance. Participants are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch and chairs. Parking is free, but limited.
