J-Sei (formerly known as the Japanese American Services of the East Bay) will hold a free panel from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Buena Vista United Methodist Church, 2311 Buena Vista Ave., Alameda, Calif. to help parents and their children with college planning. Topics covered include: how students can gain experience that matter to colleges, the application process and criteria used by different schools, test preparation, how to select colleges and identifying the right fit.
