The grand opening of the Japanese American History/Nisei Veterans’ Exhibit will take place aboard the USS Hornet Museum, 707 W. Hornet Ave., Alameda, Calif. This exhibit honors the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, as well as the Military Intelligence Service. The Exhibit has added another room, which is dedicated to 3,000 MIS veterans who served during the Pacific War and another 3,000 who helped reconstruct Japan.
