Nor Cal: Performance by Kodo ensemble dancer

Chieko Kojima, principal dancer of renowned ensemble Kodo from Japan, with premier fue (bamboo flute) player, Kaoru Watanabe from Manhattan, and Alameda artist Maze Daiko, will perform at the Island Arts Festival at Rhythmix Cultural Works, 2513 Blanding Ave. in Alameda, Calif. beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets:  $20 in advance, $25 at the door.
