J-Sei will hold its next Saturday Morning Series on the Internet and social media at the Lake Park United Methodist Church, located 281 Santa Clara Ave., Oakland, Calif. Tracie Lui, of the Berkeley Police department, will discuss how people can safely navigate the Web and avoid online scams. Kelly Adachi UCB business administration and media studies major, and J-Sei social media intern, will highlight the most popular social media sites and focus on how to supervise the youth’s Internet use and social media participation. The audience will break out into small “computer lab groups” to search, view and explore the world of social media. The event is free.
