Janice Mirikitani, a former poet laureate of San Francisco, will be the featured literary artist at the Oakland Asian Cultural Center’s 2012 Lit Night. The theme of the evening is Crossing Borders: journeys between and within. Additional performers will include poet Bonnie Wai-Lee Kwong and singer/songwriter Wilson Wong. The doors to the event, which will be held at 388 9th St., #290, Oakland, Calif., will open at 5:30 p.m. Event is free to the public.
