Oak: “The Black Mound (Kurozuka)” film screening

The Japan Exchange & Teaching Program Alumni Association will hold a class exploring the classic Japanese Gothic folktale, “The Black Mound (Kurozuka)” at the Oakland Asian Cultural Center, 388 9th St., #290, Oakland, Calif. at 2 p.m. This class will investigate three different versions of the story: noh, kabuki and a special live presentation of butoh dance by OACC Artist-in-Resident Judith Kajiwara.
