The “Strike a Pose Yogathon 2011,” held at Madison Square Park in Oakland, Calif., will raise awareness about the risk of HIV in the Asian Pacific Islander community of Alameda County. Proceeds will benefit Asian Health Services’ HIV/AIDS Prevention and Awareness Program. All levels are welcome — novices to seasoned yogis — to practice 90 yoga poses in the park with professional instruction.
