The Toledo Museum of Art’s “Small Worlds” exhibit brings together intricate and thoughtful works of art on the smallest of scales. Five contemporary artists offer more than 40 small worlds rendered as relief paintings, sculptures, drawings, and photographs. There also will be video and art installations, a fully functional 65 square foot house, and objects created specifically for this show. Featured artist Tabaimo, presents video installations of hand-drawn animation, which references the aesthetic of traditional ukiyo-e woodblock prints of the 18th and 19th centuries and anime. Admission to the museum and exhibit is free. The Toledo Museum is located at 2445 Monroe St, Toledo, Ohio. The museum is open everyday except Monday. Info: (419) 255-8000, www.toledomuseum.org.
